What happened at this years awards ceremony?

This year, 55 individuals and seven team projects award winners were honored from each of Harvard’s 12 plus Schools and departments. Over 200 individuals and team projects were nominated, reflecting the breadth and scope of sustainability initiatives across Harvard.

The videos to the right were shown during the ceremony.  The first video, produced for the Green Carpet Awards, features students and staff at Harvard taking individual actions to make our campus a greener, healthier place to live, work and learn. The second video is five Harvard University professors that speak about confronting the challenge of climate change on campus and beyond. The last video, is a sustainability music video produced by Harvard University student Akshay Sharma ’14 in anticipation of Earth Day 2011.
