Cancer-Biostatistician Opportunity- The prostate cancer research group in the Epidemiology Department is seeking a dynamic and energetic full-time Biostatistician to join their team at Harvard School of Public Health.

Harvard Post-Doc Opportunity- The Harvard/MGH Center on Genomics, Vulnerable Populations, and Health Disparities invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship position from individuals holding a doctorate in genomics, public health, epidemiology, oncology, or related fields to work with a transdisciplinary research team investigating the role of positive mediators (e.g., social supports or religious coping) in the etiology of disease.

Data Analysis Research Asisstant- Harvard Prevention Research Center is looking for a student/temporary research assistant to collect, manage, and analyze nutrition and physical activity related data beginning in May/June.

February 2014:

CCDD Postdoctoral Position- The Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics and the Department of Epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow for an 8-month long position (with possible renewal for another 6 months to one year, starting February 2014

January 2014:

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Global Nutritional Epidemiology- Two outstanding candidates are sought to work on an original research project supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on the Global Dietary Intakes and Diseases among Children, Women, and Men.  

Two Research Assistant Openings-The focus of this position will be on coordinating global contacts and extracting relevant data from each of the primary data sources for each of the research project objectives supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

April 2014:

T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship- Forsyth anticipates two openings on our T32 postdoctoral fellowship, one in September (for up to 2 years) and one in January (for 18  months). This is an excellent opportunity for epidemiology and biostatistics students and recent graduates. Additionally, there are also projects of interest to health services students.

Masters-Level Study Coordinator-The Francis I. Proctor Foundation for Research in Ophthalmology is an internationally renowned, privately endowed Organized Research Unit at the University of California San Francisco.  This research group at UCSF is hiring a masters-level study coordinator to work with glaucoma and CMV retinitis screening studies.  The position is based in San Francisco and would require regular travel to Thailand and India.

March 2014:

Tenure Track Faculty Position-  The School of Public Health and Health Professions, University at Buffalo, SUNY, is seeking to hire an outstanding scientist whose research includes a focus on methods in population science for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Depending on the candidate’s expertise and fit, the selected faculty member will join either the Department of Biostatistics or the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health.

Project Coordinator- The Center for Addiction Medicine within the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry is seeking to recruit a full time project coordinator to coordinate the Recovery Research Institute (RRI) (www.recoveryanswers.org), conduct data analyses for manuscript publications, and assist with research study tasks and administrative duties in the center.

Epidemiologist Position- This person would be responsible for all data activities, including the submission of our annual data to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  The position closes March 21st.
