Dr. Hu's current interests are mainly in the areas of survival analysis, measurement error, and missing data. He has been developing semi-parametric methods for the analysis of failure time data and recurrent event data when covariates are mismeasured or missing. He is also interested in statistical methodology for the analysis of longitudinal data and the design of clinical trials.
Dr. Hu is also involved in collaborative research in the Statistical and Data Analysis Center of the Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Group. He is participating in the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials which study new interventions for HIV-infected pediatric patients.
