• Women's health and chronic disease epidemiology, particularly the role of lifestyle factors, micronutrient supplementation, and hormone replacement therapy as determinants of heart disease and stroke in women;
• Prevention of type 2 diabetes mellitus and its cardiovascular complications and biochemical and genetic markers for diabetes and cardiovascular disease; and
  
• Assessment of lifestyle and endocrinologic determinants of breast cancer.
