Research
Joshua Salomon's research focuses on priority-setting in global health, within three main substantive areas:
- measurement and valuation of population health
- modeling and forecasting of health outcomes and disease burden
- evaluation of the potential impact and cost-effectiveness of current and future health interventions.
He is an investigator on projects funded by NIH and the Gates Foundation relating to comparability of health measures; the global burden of disease; modeling of infectious and chronic diseases and interventions; and evaluating the potential impact and cost effectiveness of new health technologies.
