Dr. Grimsley is a certified industrial hygienist (CIH) with more than 20 years of experience. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D. in Environmental and Industrial Hygiene at the University of Cincinnati, she worked in private industry for seven years. Her research interests include occupational health and safety, air quality/pollution, bioaerosols, and exposure assessment, with a particular interest in exposure characterization and control of occupational hazards, indoor pollutants, asthma triggers, and mold. She currently is on special leave from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where she is Associate Professor, Department of Global Environmental Health Sciences.
