Research
My principal areas of research consist of three main focuses:
- the interrelationship between vascular risk factors, neurological diseases, and cardiovascular disease with particular focus on migraine, stroke, restless legs syndrome, and Parkinson's disease [neuroepidemiology/cardiovascular epidemiology];
- the evaluation of risks and benefits of medication use [pharmacoepidemiology];
- the evaluation of methods to control for confounding, particularly the propensity score [epidemiologic methods].
