You can support students with a gift of any size.

HSPH students are future global health leaders—problem solvers and innovators who will make breakthrough discoveries that impact the health of people everywhere. Many of them also make personal sacrifices to come to the School, giving up more lucrative professions to devote themselves to public service.

Tuition support is critical to making sure that, each year, the best and brightest students can begin world-changing careers at HSPH regardless of financial circumstances. And philanthropy—the generosity of our alumni and friends—is our chief source of current use support for unrestricted scholarships.

We count on our community to continue making it possible for HSPH to educate new generations of public health leaders.

The facts:

Average tuition and living expenses for one year at HSPH are $59,104. We need to offer more support to students to remain competitive—but current resources allow us to make these offers to only a fraction of qualified students.

When offered a generous financial aid package, virtually all admitted students choose HSPH.

HSPH alumni directly influence the health of millions of people. Our alumni include 6 former directors of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ministers of health, heads of government agencies, emergency responders, researchers, teachers, policymakers, care-givers, and others working on the front lines of health worldwide.

 

In June of 2011, Dean Julio Frenk declared student support his top fundraising priority, committing to triple the amount raised for financial aid. Every gift of every size matters.
