Harvard Programs on AIDS in Africa, 2002
Designed to highlight research and programs throughout Harvard on AIDS in Africa, this multi-disciplinary symposium offered the Harvard community an opportunity to become informed on the work of Harvard researchers, faculty, collaborators and students on the HIV epidemic in Africa.
XIV International AIDS Conference - Barcelona, Spain, July 7-12, 2002
Researchers from HAI participated in the XIV International AIDS Conference in July. Seventeen abstracts from HAI-affiliated researchers and educators were accepted for presentation. In addition, the Enhancing Care Initiative, an institute program that builds multi-sectorial AIDS care teams, held a satellite meeting on Sunday, July 7th.

HIV/AIDS: Hard Times, Hard Choices - Boston Massachusetts, April 10, 2002
Researchers at HAI gave presentations on international AIDS partnerships at a risk management program titled HIV/AIDS: Hard Times, Hard Choices at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum. The program aimed to inform HIV and AIDS health care providers about the issues surrounding difficult economic choices and growing clinical challenges in the treatment of HIV and AIDS patients.
