“We thoroughly enjoyed being able to listen carefully to some remarkable reports, discussions of the intricacies of the AIDS problem—medical and social—in the area. Max Essex and President Mogae, the many doctors, among them remarkable women like Dr. Okatch, were fascinating to observe and converse with.”

Partner with HAI in the Fight against AIDS

AIDS is responsible for the deaths of over two million people each year in sub-Saharan Africa, a figure greater than the number of lives lost to wars, famines and floods. Contributions to HAI play a significant role in ongoing research efforts to stem the HIV and AIDS epidemic in Africa. Donors enjoy a deeply felt confidence that money invested in the research at HAI is well used and benefits public health in places where resources are scarce.

You Can Help Today

There are many ways to support HAI’s work to curb the AIDS epidemic. Gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated.
