On November 30 - December 1, 2010, members of the Commission, educators, scientists, and researchers gathered at the symposium, Health Professionals for a New Century: Transforming Education to Strengthen Health Systems in an Interdependent World, to present and discuss the final report of the Commission addressing new contexts and challenges for the education of health professionals. Through panels, participants will examine research priorities, institutional architecture, capacity development, and financing at both global and national levels.
