Welcome |
The health care industry has had an increasingly important impact on the economy. Public concern about the delivery of health care services is near the top of the national agenda. While the last century has seen tremendous advances in health care technology, a number of complicated issues concerning resource allocation and financing remain. The complex and contentious nature of health policy today challenges policymakers to mediate a diverse range of strongly held interests, beliefs, and values.
The Health Policy Forum is a student organization at the Harvard School of Public Health. It was established to provide a forum to discuss critical challenges in United States health policy. We organize debates, lectures, and panels on various issues. Our speakers are leading researchers in health policy. |
