The HSPH Department of Information Technology welcomes new hire, Jeremy St. Marie. Jeremy will work as a user support specialist in our User Services Group and will provide helpdesk, desktop, classroom, and media services support to the community. Jeremy has spent the last three months at the HSPH Helpdesk as a temp employee and made an immediate impact as a valuable team member.
Jeremy is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a degree in industrial technology and networking technology.
Jeremy spent 4+ years at Central Connecticut State’s IT Office moving from student worker to full-time deployment leader for a number of large projects as a co-op. Central Connecticut State’s IT Office is a busy hub providing support to a population of more than 1,000 faculty and staff and over 12,000 students where Jeremy received hundreds of calls weekly during peek time periods. Jeremy has experience working in student computing laboratories as well as in the field resolving issues for faculty and staff.

Jeremy has extensive experience with PC/Windows environment, Dell hardware, and many types of software. He is Dell desktop and laptop certified as well as CompTIA A+ certified.

Prior to heading off to college, Jeremy worked for several years in a local grocery store bakery in Farmington, CT. In Jeremy’s free time, he continues to enjoy baking all types of desserts!
