Harvard School of Public Health has canceled all classes for Wednesday, February 2. For today (Tuesday, February 1), we encourage supervisors and faculty members to begin a staggered departure schedule after 1 p.m. to ensure safe travels and minimize traffic congestion. Faculty are responsible for notifying their students if a class is canceled today. Please check with your supervisor for further clarification.
While the School will remain open, only designated personnel responsible for such services as maintaining resident housing, animal facilities and laboratory experiments need to report on Wednesday. All other personnel are encouraged to stay home. If you have any questions about this, please ask your supervisor.
For updates regarding classes and work for the remainder of the week, please watch the School’s website, www.hsph.harvard.edu, and call our information line at 617 432-NEWS (6392). Non-exempt overtime-eligible individuals who are considered non-designated personnel should report their time in PeopleSoft as an excused absence for the remainder of today and tomorrow. The excused absence should be entered in PeopleSoft Absence Management as an Absence Request and not through the Timesheet in Time and Labor.
Designated personnel should report their regular hours as usual in the Timesheet.
If you have any questions, contact your HR Partner.
