Server Maintenance on Thursday, October 13, 2011

UPDATE: Maintenance was successfully completed.

On Thursday, October 13, 2011, we will be performing our normal system maintenance to all servers and network equipment.

The maintenance window will last from 7:00 PM til 1:00 AM.

The following services will have one or two small outages:
(You can continue to work, but may have brief pauses while services restart)

The following services will be unavailable from 7PM to 10:30PM:

  • HPCC system

Future maintenance windows are scheduled for Thursday nights from 7PM to 1AM on the following dates:

  • 12/18/2011
  • 01/12/2012
  • 02/16/2012
  • 03/15/2012

Fall 2011 Computer Training Schedule

Brush up on your analytical and project management skills this fall!

The Department of Information Technology is pleased to offer our fall computer training series for faculty, staff, and researchers.

Fall 2011 courses include:

  • Introductory MS Excel 2010
  • Intermediate MS Excel 2010
  • Advanced MS Excel 2010
  • Introduction to MS Project 2010
  • Introduction to MS Access 2010 (2-day course)
  • Introduction to MS Visio 2010

The courses are offered free of charge and are conveniently located in the Kresge LL10 computer laboratory.  Courses are taught by New Horizons, HSPH’s training partner, and include an excellent workbook.

Microsoft Software

Please be reminded that Microsoft Office 2010 is available to HSPH faculty, staff, and researchers free of charge for installation on Harvard-owned machines.  Please contact the HSPH Helpdesk, 432-HELP for further information.
