The Department of Information Technology is writing to give you advance notice of a system outage scheduled for the ALICE and MyHSPH Student Information Systems (SIS) which will occur between 9:00 AM Saturday, March 16th through 8:00 AM Wednesday, March 20th. This maintenance window is needed in order to perform a series of much needed upgrades to various components of our SIS. We have scheduled the work to take place during Spring Break, with the hopes of minimizing impact to our community.
The following systems will be affected:
- MyHSPH portal
- ALICE Self Service for Students and Faculty
- Internet Native Banner (Administrative users)
Access to course iSites and GMAIL will be available through a web interface that will be linked to the current portal address of https://my.sph.harvard.edu
This four-day window is designed to provide sufficient time to perform all needed upgrades. During the upgrade process we will also implement changes to our portal configuration that will allow full functionality within the portal, even for other Harvard networks that are not part of the HSPH network. If we are able to complete the work sooner than anticipated, we will notify all users when the systems are again available.
