At 12:25 pm, the HSPH main website began throwing errors messages and was taken off-line. An interim web page containing links to key unaffected services (Outlook, GMAIL, myHSPH, iSites) was put online shortly after the outage began.
At 3:20 pm, all services were successfully restored.
While we are still researching issue thoroughly, it currently points to an issue with Rackspace’s cloud database service. Rackspace is HSPH hosting vendor.
