Web Accessibility and Guidelines

HSPH follows Harvard’s endorsement of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG version 1.0) Priority Level 1 as the minimum guideline for the development of new websites. The HSPH Publisher (CMS) has been designed to be completely accessible and usable, working in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG v1.0).  Web sites developed outside the HSPH Publisher by third-party developers must comply with WCAG v1.0 guidelines to the best of their abilities. Retrofitting existing sites prior to 2007 will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
