Social Network Analysis Introductory Workshop: The Value of Social Networks in Mobilizing Against Disparities
This innovative workshop, held on November 18, 2009 in Shrewsbury, MA, provided the basics of social network analysis concepts in relation to organizational collaborations. Workshop participants had opportunities to explore, build, and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Workshop participants were provided with:
- An introduction and general overview on social network analysis, with a focus on relationships between community-based organizations and their partners.
- Opportunities to practice using social network constructs to evaluate and communicate about partnerships and exchange of resources.
