For 20 years, the Biostatistics Department at the Harvard School of Public Health has organized a workshop dedicated to important and timely topics in the application of statistics to clinical trials.  The event is intended for researchers from industry, academia, and the regulatory agencies, and provides a neutral ground for discussing important and potentially controversial issues related to the clinical development of drugs and devices.

The first workshop took place in 1993.  Until 2009, the workshops were sponsored by the Schering-Plough Corporation.  In late 2009, Merck & Co, Inc. acquired Schering-Plough and sponsored the event through 2012.

New in 2013, the Biostatistics Department will be hosting the Pharmaceutical and Regulatory Sciences Workshop with sponsor support. Please CLICK HERE for more information.
