During the summer of 2013, Briana Lynch, a student from Univ. of Missouri, and Lucila Suarez, from Columbia Univ., worked with researchers in MIPS labs through the Harvard Chan School Biological Sciences in Public Health (BPH) Summer Program. Briana worked with Dr. Christa Watson in the labs of Dr. Joseph Brain and Dr. Phil Demokritou on the genotoxicity of cerium on TK-6 cells. Lucila studied lead neurotoxicity in human neural stem cells under the supervision of Mr. Peter Wagner in the lab of Dr. Quan Lu. Please see the attached photos from their final poster presentations.
