April 2009 -- HSPH Dean Julio Frenk hosted a panel discussion on the recent recognition of breast cancer as an "unforeseen public health priority" in Mexico and many parts of the less-developed world. It was the first in a planned series of participatory panels on public health issues. Speakers included Frenk, Felicia Marie Knaul, Jennifer Leaning, Lawrence Shulman and Walter Willett.
