At NIH, Kenneth Olden engaged ordinary citizens in the battle for a safer environment. Fresh from the Yerby Visiting Professorship at HSPH, he plans to tap Americans for feedback on his health reform plan. “If it is sold right, I see health care as being no different from our other publicly subsidized services, such as fire, police, and schools,” he says.
