Crash course in healthy cooking

The annual “Healthy Kitchens, Healthy Lives—Caring For Our Patients and Ourselves” conference, offered by Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and The Culinary Institute of America, provides doctors and other health professionals with the latest in nutrition science as well as hands-on training in how to cook healthy meals.

A  video produced by conference co-sponsor the Samueli Institute and posted online September 5, 2013, features conference leader [[David Eisenberg]], adjunct associate professor of nutrition at HSPH, and [[Walter Willett]], Fredrick John Stare Professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition. They discuss the conference’s mission, which is to provide health care professionals with the tools to change their own behavior and to advise their patients on healthy eating.

The next conference takes place March 13-16, 2014 in Napa Valley, California.
