Editing content
To edit any of the content that is on any page, please do the following
- Login to http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/publisher with your Harvard ID and PIN
- You should be forwarded to your CONTROL PANEL for your site

- Please note that there is HELP specific to each page in the upper right hand corner. Help explains each field and icon on the page.

- Select CONTENT MANAGER

- Select the EDIT BUTTON
for the topic that you'd like to edit.

The edit button is the pencil and paper icon.
Other buttons:
- House icon indicates if content item is on your home page or not; when you add an item to the home page the default to stack content items. You may also use the HOMEPAGE manager on the CONTROL PANEL to create two columns.

- Light bulb indicates if the item is published or not

- The delete icon
allows you to delete pieces of content. - Deleted pieces of content are moved to the TRASH on the control panel. They may be restored for a period of one month from publishing.

- Use the editor to edit content. The editor work much like MS Word.
You may cut and paste from MS Word by copying the text in Word and using the PASTE MS WORD button in the editor (a clipboard with a W on it)

- Click SAVE to save it to the publisher database

- Once you are finished with editing all items, click BACK from the CONTENT MANAGER PAGE to return to the CONTROL PANEL

- You may preview your site with the PREVIEW SITE button in the upper right.

- If your site is edited to your satisfaction, please click on the BACK button to return to the CONTROL PANEL and then LAUNCH WEBSITE to move it to its final location on the main web server.
