Version 1.1 Release (June 20, 2007)

  • Updated HTML editor that includes a full-screen option, html formatting, media embedding (flash, quicktime, windows media), and speed improvements
  • 'Name' and 'Title' carries over to Menu Items and Pages
  • 'Stand-alone pages' (you can choose for a page to not show in the menu)
  • Shortened Announcement box, but expanded the amount of text that shows
  • Session time-out increased to 1 hour
  • 'Other Affiliations' show on faculty homepages
  • Easier Landing-page management
  • Improved photo, title, address format on faculty and researcher homepages

CMS Updates and Enhancements 

  • Added stand alone page publishing which allows users to create pages that are unassociated with menu or submenu items.  The pages would be linked to from content pieces on other pages. (May 10, 2007)
  • Enhanced landing page (about HSPH, Research, Faculty ...) management (May 10, 2007)
  • Added WYWIWYG editor to Contact Us triage form to allow for formatted message, web links, and email addresses without requiring HTML code (May 10, 2007)
  • Publishing timeouts increased to 45 minutes (from 20 minutes) and locks were adjusted to 1 hour (from 24 hours) (May 9, 2007)
  • Added administration of Global Research Projects for faculty member as a MODULE (April 9, 2007)

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved formatting issue with IE6 on faculty and researcher pages with name, title and department information only (May 10, 2007)
Known Bugs
  • CMS does not fully work on Safari for MAC.  MAC users need to use Safari until a new AJAX library is tested and implemented on the CMS.
