The Community Outreach and Engagement Core (COEC) of the Harvard-NIEHS Center for Environmental Health is dedicated to translating the Center’s research into public health policy and community health practice. Deriving its objectives from the research of the faculty and the needs of the community, the COEC works in bi-directional partnerships with community groups, health care professionals, and policy makers to communicate research findings to the community, and community needs to the Center. Our current focus is the improvement of air quality and the prevention of asthma and obesity in children in the community of Dorchester and in the greater Boston area. Please connect with us!
