Making significant progress in the areas of recognition, career opportunities, and communication by local leadership, HSPH improved its staff engagement score on a recent survey by 16 points — placing the School among the highest ranking at the University.

HSPH to Launch New Online Room Reservation System on April 1

HSPH will launch a new system called “Book It” to reserve rooms at the School, starting April 1. A kick-off information session will be held that day from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Kresge G-1.

Two Web Sites Launched to Help Harvard Investigators Explore Opportunities Offered by Stimulus Funding

A PIN-enabled web site has been developed at HSPH to serve as a repository for information about the Stimulus Bill.  In addition, a web site has been developed by the office of Dr. David Korn, Vice Provost for Research, to provide the following up-to-date information about opportunities of interest to Harvard principal investigators and administrators.

Karen Emmons of DFCI and HSPH Receives Faculty Diversity Award

Karen Emmons, deputy director of the Center for Community-Based Research, DFCI, and professor of Society, Human Development, and Health, was a recipient of a Harold Amos Faculty Diversity Award on March 11 at HMS.
