Professor Howard Koh Confirmed as Asst. Secretary for Health


Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary, announced on June 19 that the U.S. Senate had unanimously confirmed HSPH Professor Howard Koh as the next Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Additional Fitness Reimbursement Available


In addition to the HSPH fitness reimbursement, employees may also qualify for a $150 reimbursement from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC) or Harvard University Group Health Plan (HUGHP). Both plans offer a fitness reimbursement to enrolled staff who have been a member of a qualifying health club for at least four consecutive months. To learn more, visit HUGHP or HPHC online.



More HSPH Staff Receive Awards for Going "Beyond the Call"


The following staff were honored recently by their peers for going "beyond the call" of their job responsibilities. The program is sponsored by Human Resources. Recipients receive a $100 gift certificate and a recognition letter. Staff, faculty, and academic appointees may nominate other staff, faculty, or academic appointees.
