HSPH Professor Receives Prestigious Statistics Award

Lee-Jen Wei, professor of biostatistics at HSPH, has been awarded the Samuel S. Wilks Medal for statistical methods used in clinical trials. The award is among the most prestigious given by the American Statistical Association.

Communications Research Expert to Receive Two Honors

Vish Viswanath, associate professor of society, human development, and health, will receive the Mayhew DerryBerry Award at this year's annual meeting of the American Public Health Association in November in Philadelphia, PA.  The award is given for outstanding contributions to health education research and theory. Viswanath also has been selected to deliver the 22nd annual B. Aubrey Fisher Memorial Lecture at the University of Utah in October.
