HSPH Ranked Top School of Public Health in New Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index

HSPH was ranked first in the discipline of public health in a new Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index described in last week's The Chronicle of Higher Education (Subscription required). The index was developed by Academic Analytics and partly financed by the State University of New York at Stony Brook. The index ranked more than 7,200 doctoral programs in 104 disciplines at more than 350 institutions. Factors in the rankings included number of publications and citations of those journals and books; federal grant awards; and honors and awards, according to the Chronicle.
