Student and Her Fiancé Compete on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire'

Ralph Brutus and Andrea Ault celebrate a correct answer

Andrea Ault, a GSAS student who takes classes at HSPH, and her fiancé, Ralph Brutus, won $25,000 during "Play to Pay for Your Wedding" week on the popular ABC game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. The segment aired on local station WCVB on February 9.

The game show allowed engaged couples to play as a team. The couples were allowed to discuss the questions with each other before agreeing on one "final answer." The episodes featuring all the couples aired from February 5 to 9.

Ault studies health policy at GSAS and takes courses at HSPH toward her Ph.D. Brutus is a physician in private practice.

The pair plan to marry on September 2, 2007, in Queens, NY.

The $25,000 question, which the pair guessed correctly as "C," was "Frequently heard at weddings, Johann Pachelbel's famous canon is in what key? A) A major, B) C major, C) D major, D) F major."

The $50,000 was, "In Shakespeare's Macbeth, which of these items is not mixed into the witches' boiling cauldron? A) Tail of cat, B) Toe of frog, C) Wool of bat, D) Tongue of dog." Ault and Brutus guessed the answer to be "D." The correct answer was "A."
