The 2007 annual teaching and mentoring awards were announced by the Office for Student Affairs and presented at a faculty meeting on June 4. The recipients were:
Immaculata DeVivo (l) accepted a teaching citation from Student Government President Monisha Machado
- Roger L. Nichols Excellence in Teaching Award: Julie Buring, Professor in the Department of Epidemiology
- Teaching Citations: Immaculata DeVivo, Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology, and William Hsiao, K.T. Li Professor of Economics
- Mentoring Award: Saidi Kapiga, Associate Professor of Reproductive Health
- Professor Emeritus Award: D. Mark Hegsted, HSPH Department of Nutrition
