Information Available about Installation Ceremony for President Faust

Harvard University President Drew Faust, Lincoln Professor of History, will be formally installed as Harvard's 28th president on Friday, October 12, at an outdoor ceremony in the Tercentenary Theatre. The event is open to all faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the community. Access to the Installation Ceremony is by either Harvard ID or a ticket, which may be picked up at the Harvard Box Office in the Holyoke Center Arcade starting October 8.

An academic procession, featuring representatives of universities from around the world, will begin at 2 p.m. The installation will begin at 2:30 p.m. It is recommended that people be seated by 1:45 p.m.

A live webcast of the installation ceremony will be available. Also, HSPH will be webcasting the ceremony in Kresge G-2, and the event will be shown on the plasma screen in the Kresge lobby.
