The HSPH Special Events Committee has announced the 2007-08 schedule of HSPH Schoolwide events.
The Committee consists of Paul Riccardi and Mary Jane Curran (Operations); Linda Zedros (Health Policy and Management); Debbie Mattina (Faculty Affairs); Trina Weekes, Ilia Maldonado, and Chris Ciotti (Human Resources).
An "Around the World" Winter Celebration has been added that reflects the diversity of the School community. This gathering will invite the HSPH community to contribute their favorite recipes, which will be collected and posted on a School web site. Attendees will enjoy a sampling of food from Sebastian's Café.
Also, after careful consideration and feedback from HSPH focus groups, the Committee has decided to retire the following events: Spring Fling, On My Own Time, and 'Books Are Fun' Book Fairs. These events were not well attended, and their retirement will allow the Committee to revitalize the Schoolwide events schedule and focus energy on other gatherings.
