Charity Holiday Drives
In addition to Harvard's Community Gifts Campaign, there are other holiday charity drives at HSPH. Toys are being collected at the Harvard University Employees' Credit Union near the Kresge cafeteria as part of a "Toys for Tots Drive." The program is run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Toys must be new and not wrapped. The donations will be picked up on December 11.
Also, HSPH Student Government is collecting nonperishable food, clothing, and toiletries in boxes in the lobbies of the FXB and Kresge Buildings. For more information about this effort, e-mail pgrey@hsph.harvard.edu.
Flu Vaccines Available
Members of the Harvard community may receive flu vaccinations through Harvard University Health Services (HUHS) free of charge. The service is being offered on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. thoughout December, with the exception of December 24 and 25. The office is on the second floor of Holyoke Center at HUHS. No appointment required.
The clinics are open to all Harvard University faculty, staff, and students with a valid Harvard ID or HUGHP ID. For more information, call the Flu Information Line at 617-496-2288.
Outings & Innings Hours Announced for December
Due to the December holiday break, Outings & Innings will visit the Longwood Medical Area (LMA) on Wednesday, December 12 and 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Kresge Atrium. The team will not be at the School on Wednesday, December 26.
