For the first time, Student Affairs, working with additional staff from Student Services, organized pancake breakfasts on December 17 and 18 in the Kresge cafeteria before the holiday break. The food fortified HSPH students during finals week. Served on a first-come, first-served basis, the pancakes went fast. Also on the menu were orange juice, tea, maple syrup, and fruit topping.

"We wanted to provide a warm welcome for students during finals week," said Andrew Eisenmann, director for Student Affairs. "It was so successful that we had to increase the order the second day. We hope to make this a regular ritual to mark the end of term."
