Nutrition expert Shiriki Kumanyika delivered a lecture — available now as a webcast — entitled “Combating the Obesity Epidemic: Recognizing and Reconciling Research Priorities” on February 11 in Kresge G-2 as part of the Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series. The event was co-sponsored by the Department of Nutrition.

landing was several years away, network television was in black and
white, and the Internet, of course, did not exist. To make use of the
library’s resources, one needed to go to the building, use the card
catalog, and peruse the open stacks.
Employees Honored at Event Marking Years of Service
Each year, HSPH holds an annual appreciation event called “Celebration
with the Stars” to honor employees who have reached their employment
anniversaries of five, 10, 15, 20, 25, and more years. This year's
event took place on January 30 in the Kresge cafeteria.
