Landmark Community
A special shuttle bus will depart at 11:30 a.m. from the Regal Theater on Brookline Ave. to the Kresge Building at 677 Huntington Ave. and return to the Landmark Building at 1:15 p.m. Regular Landmark Shuttle service will also take place.

Postage Stamps Available at Credit Union at HSPH
Books and rolls of U.S. postage stamps are now available for sale at the Harvard University Credit Union near the entrance to Sebastian's Café in the Kresge Building. There are no extra fees for buying stamps there, and you do not need to be a member to buy them. The stamp machine that once stood near the vending machines in the Kresge Building was removed permanently due to renovations.
Xihong Lin Wins Award
HSPH Professor of Biostatistics Xihong Lin is the recipient of the Seventh Annual Janet L. Norwood Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Woman in the Statistical Sciences. She will accept the award at the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Her research areas include statistical learning methods for high-dimensional data, dimension reduction, variable selection, nonparametric and semiparametric regression models, measurement error, mixed (frailty) models, estimating equations, and missing data. She is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and a recipient of the COPSS President's Award from the Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies.
