Show off a little to your daughters and teach them lessons about the workplace. The Office of Human Resources is once again hosting "Take Our Daughters to Work Day" on Thursday, April 26. This nationally recognized event helps promote awareness of todays women in the workplace, while introducing young girls to diverse career opportunities. Daughters, granddaughters, nieces, or any girl who is special to a member of the HSPH community are invited. Activities include presentations from HSPH staff members, tours, a luncheon reception, and hands-on activities. If you do not know of a young girl who could join you for the day but still would like to participate, you could volunteer to give departmental tours and answer questions about certain careers or fields of interest. If you would like to participate, contact Renee DeBlois at 617-432-1046 or rdeblois@hsph.harvard.edu. Please inform the Office of Human Resources by April 19 if you plan to participate.
