The Harvard Center for Cancer Prevention has revamped its popular Your Disease Risk web site to make it even easier to peruse the broad range of information the Center has to offer. Additions to the site include technological advances such as podcasts and webcasts.

The site still provides personalized assessments of risks for different cancers, diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, and stroke-as well as tips on how to reduce risks. Now, the web site also offers visitors the opportunity to listen to regular podcasts of "Cancer News in Context." Current podcasts include: "Choose an Ounce of Prevention;" "The Skinny on Fat;" and "Shedding Light on Vitamin D and Cancer." Plans are underway for "Prevention Radio," a series of brief interviews with local cancer prevention experts.

The web site also features webcasts from the ongoing Cancer Prevention Dialogues series, which has included talks from the Director of Cancer Screening for the American Cancer Society and the Associate Director of Science at the CDC's Division of Cancer Prevention and Control.
