Exams and Defenses

Chunyu Zheng, doctoral student in the Department of Nutrition, will present his thesis, "Lipoprotein Lipase Bound to ApoB Lipoproteins in Humans: Role in Clearance of Postprandial Lipoproteins," on Friday, April 30 at 1:00 p.m. in FXB G-10.

Juhee Kim, doctoral student in the Department of Society, Human Development, and Health, will present her thesis, "Monitoring Overweight and Physical Fitness among Children Using Growth Surveillance Systems," on Tuesday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. in Kresge 708.

Monica McGrath, doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology, will present her thesis, "Genetic Susceptibility to Endometrial Cancer," on Wednesday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. in Kresge 908.

Sara Cherkerzian, doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology, will present her thesis, "Exposure to Preeclampsia in Utero and Development of Schizophrenia: Understanding the Underlying Immunologic Mechanisms," on Thursday, May 6 at 3:00 p.m. in Kresge 908.

Sung Kyun Park, doctoral student in the Department of Environmental Health, will take his oral exam on Thursday, May 6 at 3:30 p.m. in Landmark 414A. Major: environmental epidemiology; minors: environmental genetics and biostatistics. Heather Nelson will chair the examination committee.
