Students and faculty gathered in December for a "First Thursday Tea," sponsored by the HSPH Student Government and the Office for Student Affairs. The informal events are held each month from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the FXB Atrium, near the elevators on the first floor. Tea and cookies are served. The next event is scheduled for March 3.

The talents of HSPH members were on display during the annual "On My Own Time" event in December. Participants displayed projects reflecting their hobbies and interests outside of their professional lives. Examples of projects were homemade jewelry, woven baskets, paintings, poetry, photography, pottery, shoe shopping, and blogging.
