Cruse Collegiate Professor of Sociology, Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan Wednesday, February 2 Pilot Project Grants Available through Program on the Global Demography of Aging The Program on the Global Demography of Aging, funded by the National Institute of Aging, encourages and supports faculty research projects in global aging. The maximum award is $20,000. All Harvard faculty members are eligible to apply for pilot research project grants. Applications for grants will be reviewed by the program's research committee. than 125 senior citizens from the Mission Hill, Fenway, Lower Roxbury,
and Jamaica Plains neighborhoods danced and dined in the Kresge cafeteria
for the annual "An Affair to Remember" last month, an event
that brings together local residents for a night of music and fun. Above,
student Susan Bentsi-Enchill dances with Mission Hill resident Dmitry
Drizik. The band "Four Guys in Tuxes" provided live music that
included swing and holiday songs, while Sebastians catered dinner.
The event was organized by Operations and co-sponsored by HMS and the
Harvard Office of Government and Community Affairs.
