The Democratic National Convention (DNC) will take place from Monday, July 26 to Thursday, July 29 at the FleetCenter. WHATs New or Updated MASCO has created a link on its web site at www.masco.org for DNC updates on transportation and security. CommuteWorks is creating a carpool program during the DNC. Program details will be available soon. Amtrak will suspend Downeaster service during Convention week. The Conventions web site now features a link for information on traffic and on the MBTA (www.boston04.com). MASCO will provide these additional shuttle services. Porter Square Shuttle Evening: There will be two shuttle trips in the evening during the DNC, leaving the LMA to Porter Square at 4:05 p.m. and at 4:35 p.m. The order of the stops from the LMA to Porter Square starts at Joslin Place and then travel to 75 Francis Street, Binney Street Shelter, Shapiro Building, and BIDMC East Shelter. Lynn Station Shuttle Evening: There will be two shuttle trips in the evening, leaving the LMA to Lynn Station at 3:45 p.m. and at 4:45 p.m. The order of the stops from the LMA to Lynn Station starts at Joslin Place and then travel to 75 Francis Street, Binney Street Shelter, Shapiro Building, and BIDMC East Shelter. The mailroom will operate on a schedule of 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. the week of the convention.
