"What's Your Harvard Like? The Harvard 2006 Staff Survey" begins today, March 17, and runs to March 31. All HSPH staff are encouraged to complete the form, which is expected to take about 20 minutes. All responses are anonymous.
The web-based form is available online at http://www.hewitt.com/insight/harvardstaffsurvey. User ID is harvardstaff. Password is survey. A paper version is also available in English at the HSPH Human Resources Office, Kresge 505. Other languages are available on request.
Results will be sent directly to Hewitt Associates, the outside firm conducting the survey for Harvard. Organizing efforts at HSPH are Carolyn Everette, Associate Dean for Human Resources; Patricia Edwards, Associate Director of Human Resources; and Audrey Smith, Special Assistant in the Office of the Dean. They are joined by volunteers to help get the word out.
Prizes will be awarded to HSPH departments that reach pre-set goals for participation. The University hopes to gain 60 percent employee participation. HSPH has set a goal of 75 percent. Participants will also have the opportunity to register for a raffle to win an iPod Nano or pair of Red Sox tickets after completing the survey. The raffle is separate from the survey to preserve anonymity.
