Exams and Defenses

Heather Kun, doctoral student in the Department of Population and International Health, will present her thesis, "Health Profile and Interface of Farm Workers with Health Care in Imperial County, California: A Qualitative Analysis," on Thursday, March 24 at 2:30 p.m. in SPHII-1112.

Gretchen Stevens, doctoral student in the Departments of Environmental Health and Health Policy and Management, will take her oral examination on Friday, March 25 at 9:30 a.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Room at 718 Huntington Avenue. Major: decision analysis risk assessment; minor: contaminant fate and transport. Jonathan Levy will chair the examination committee.

Kathleen McCarty, doctoral student in the Department of Environmental Health, will present her thesis, "Glutathione S Transferases TI MI and PI, Arsenic Exposure, and Skin Lesions," on Friday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m. in SPHI-1301.

Amy Nunn, doctoral student in the Department of Population and International Health, will take her oral examination on Wednesday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m. in SPHI-1112. Major: health systems; minors: research methods and political economy. Sofia Gruskin will chair the examination committee.

Karen Hopcia, doctoral student in the Department of Environmental Health, will take her oral examination on Tuesday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m. in SPHI-1301. Major: occupational health policy; minors: decision science and occupational safety and injury prevention. Karen Kuntz will chair the examination committee.

Lin Wang, doctoral student in the Department of Environmental Health, will present his thesis, "Genetic Study on Fetal Growth Restriction," on Monday, April 11 at 2:30 p.m. in FXB 105.
