Leaning Adds Advisory Role for Radcliffe Institute to Duties

Jennifer Leaning, professor of international health in the Department of Population and International Health and assistant professor of medicine at HMS, will be affiliated with the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University as a senior advisor in international and policy studies, effective February 1. She will work at the Radcliffe Institute on program development and administrative leadership during the three-year appointment. Leaning’s research and policy interests include problems of international human rights and humanitarian law, humanitarian crises, and medical ethics in disasters and emergencies. She will retain her HSPH and HMS appointments.

Register for "On My Own Time"

Registration is open for the annual "On My Own Time" exhibit, which features arts, crafts, and hobby interests of HSPH employees. Sponsored by the Office of Human Resources, the event takes place from December 6 to 17 in the FXB lobby. To register, visit www.hsph.harvard.edu/hr/OnMyOwnTime.htm. The deadline is Wednesday, December 1.

During the event, there will be raffle drawings, special gifts for participants, and the option for participants to sell artwork they exhibit.
