November 16, 2001 Photography Exhibition Documents September 11th Aftermath in New York
"When Duty Calls" is a series of 38 black-and-white and color photographs that honor those who died on September 11, 2001, as well as their families and friends. It also honors those who are presently working at the World Trade Center (WTC) site. The photographs were taken on September 23 and 24 at various firehouses in the WTC area and at other WTC locations.
Sponsorship for the exhibition of "When Duty Calls" at HSPH was provided by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)-Harvard Education and Research Center (ERC) and the Occupational Health Program, the NIEHS Kresge Center for Environmental Health, The Harvard Environmental Council, and Liberty Mutual-Harvard Program in Occupational Health and Safety. It is an outreach activity of the NIOSH-Harvard ERC and the NIEHS-Kresge Community Outreach and Education Program.
