Adjoining the Kresge cafeteria near the cashier stations, the room formerly known as "A New Season" has turned a new leaf as a renovated faculty lounge.

Officially opened on September 27, the lounge is available to faculty members from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Coffee is served all day.

The room features modern couches, chairs, and tables. The walls have been stenciled in tones of green and peach. Newspapers such as the New York Times, scientific journals, and Harvard publications are available on tables and in racks by the door. Computers with wireless network cards will work in the lounge. A campus phone will be installed soon.

The common room is intended to promote a relaxed environment as well as foster discussions and collaborations between faculty.
